I am finishing crafting my book A Personal Tao. In the next week or so I will be posting the final version of the book as I go thru the last grammar checks. A pretty solid version is up on the site.

I could use some help now

Help get the word out.

    Well I have started to track traffic to the site a few months ago. A Personal Tao gets roughly 5,000 visitors with 500 copies of the book read online or downloaded in a given month.

    Not bad for a new Taoist site. Yet I have set up the site to serve quite a bit more so I could use help getting word out about the book. Please let your friends know about the site and the goal to pass on a smile. Writing A Personal Tao was my first step towards making a larger difference. Now it's time to begin taking some more direct action: by simply sharing :).

    Its time for me to hand back a smile which a stranger gave to me so many years ago.

Looking for a good publisher.

    While I will always offer a free online version of A Personal Tao and also hand craft art versions. I would like to find a publisher to print a more assessable print copy. If anyone has had a good experience with decent publisher they can recommend then please let me know at PersonalTao@gmail.com. I am beginning to explore various possibilities for a general market print version over the next few months.

A Personal Tao 

My nature is in part being very reclusive and yet like my yoga practice I am always pushing myself to an interpersonal edge, to reach out,  purposely to share exploring life.

Some days are harder than others.
Each day is wrapped in a breeze of my own sigh.

I am feeling reclusive, my nature is to be kind, and yet all I want is to wander a river alone on a sunny day.

We are always together, I am always alone. Yet I reach out every day.

To be alive is to embrace and then climb the edges of our nature.

A Personal Tao 

Here are the detailed plans for building the perfect Paper Airplane.

I kept this plane secret from the military for years, now declassified and freely available to all children around the world for purposes of fun.

 

It's funny as I once was an aerospace engineer, but honestly this paper airplane, is my best engineering design, which merged my knowledge with just flowing with the paper and moving to what felt right. It was a blast to create and even more fun to share with kids.

Its been one year.

Brisamina is running about being one year old as of yesterday!

A Personal Tao has been out for a year. As a living book it's been changing and growing also.

Being a father, the one simple desire I have is a gift to my children. Not a gift as a thing, but a gift in life to help make society a place worth living in.

We can make a difference, society is merely a reflection of our actions. We can help each other to be ourselves, To remove false layers of pretense. A secret is that to be truly ourselves is to create a future which is wonderfilled.

This is the message that Martin Luther King, Jesus, Gandhi and others of peace have shown us.

Who am I to think I can say it any differently?

I am just a father holding out my hand and lifting others by passing on a smile then to swirl to make us both laugh. We are all hoping someone is out there to toss us back up into the air to fly, if even for a moment as a child again.

Being an angel means ---- having no wings
means lifting up to their feet
those who have fallen off the beat

What those great people would say today... Isn't for them to say
Its been handed to us now, here and now
To stand up and make our way into truth

Because we don't have wings ---- yet we can help each other fly

Its the only gift I know which can last and will make a difference.
The gift to say: Hey just be yourself :).
It's enough to make one fly.

Pondering the over abundance of blogs, or more specifically how I have a few too many to maintain. For now I am going to concentrate most of my blog entries over at my Personal Blogspot.  The purpose of a blog is creative expression and I dont want to spread myself too thin.

 So for now I will ............ Blarg!! BATSSSS

 

as i was blogging this entry, my cat Ishtar got a bat in the living room (the bats follow our road from the forest to the lake, so its fun to watch them fly about in the summer at twilight). One second all was kewl, next second high picthed yelps (of the bat freakin out since it was in the house) anyways I talked the bat softly out and back to the night. Bats dont scare me, but you do have to be careful as in washington state they do occasionally pass on rabies. SO anyways Whew!  Anyways stop by my main blog if curious about goings on I might keep this blog going for the lighter material like Bats and my main blog for my poetry and musings. 

 Bats... gads another normal nite for me.

Ok here is the first blog entry. Currently I spending most of my time working on a Personal Tao. The goals of this workfollows what zaadz is all about, so I would love feedback and see what the community here thinks.

In another few weeks I should have the fifth edition ready to go for a review. So lifeis very busy as I weave and polish words about.
